Willie Vernon Mason

Willie Vernon Mason was born in Watertown, Tennessee on December 2, 1940 to Julia Marie Bass Mason and Bobby Leroy Mason. He departed this earthly life on February 20, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age, while fellowshipping with Hart Street Church of Christ and Inner City Street Church of Christ. He received his formal education in the Smith County School District.

Willie was preceded in death by his son, Willie Mason, daughter, Lisa Nickelson, sisters, Sherly Ann Mason, Linda lee Mason, Sally Mae Mason, Irene Mason, and brothers, Walter Mason, Charles Lee Mason, Larry Lee Mason, and Robert Lee Mason.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories sons, Byron Mason, Laron Mason, Derrick Mason, Jeffery Mason, Patrick Watts, Sammy Watts, daughter, Jessica Mason, sisters, Dicie Henderson, Mary Ann (William) Seay, Edna Johnson, Louella Bass, Frankie Mason, Louise Hall, Louise Mason, Diane Mason of Michigan, brothers, Billy Lee Mason, Davis Lee Mason, Rickey Lee Mason, Roy Earl Mason, Bobby Mason, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
