Willie B. Lockridge was born May 21, 1923 to Henry Lockridge and Lillie Alexander in Thompson Station, Tennessee.
Willie was a World War II veteran and worked for L&N Railroad for 45 years. After retirement, he started his own lawn service.
Willie and Ruby Seay married June 13, 1946. To this union they had four children, Alden A. Lockridge, Genoa (Donel) Perry, Sherrie (Robert) Hilton and William (Nola) Lockridge.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lillie Lockridge; wife, Ruby Lockridge; brother, Silas (Reberta) Lockridge; sisters, Ella (Willis) Harding, Georgia Anderson; and nephew, James Lockridge.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children, 11 grandchildren; great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; devoted friend, Minnie Goodman; and a host of other relatives and friends. Service information forthcoming.
