William C Gardner

William C. Gardner was born on September 15, 1950 in Springfield, Tennessee to the union of James and Dozzie Lee Gardner. He entered into rest on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

William accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in Springfield, Tennessee Public Schools, graduating from Bransford High School. After completion of High School William enlisted in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge.

William was employed with Georgia Pacific and Blue Linx, until his retirement. He loved bowling, working on cars, and going to the casino (smile).

William was united in Holy Matrimony to Anna Roberts, and they have enjoyed 43 years of marriage. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him!

William leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife Anna Gardner, children Carlos Gardner, Terrence (Evita) Gardner, Patrick Johnson, 10 grandchildren, and a host of brothers, sisters, cousins, other relatives, and close friends. visitation 2021, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. with funeral to follow at funeral home.
