Mr. Wilburt J. Crowder, Sr. was born August 30, 1931, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Fred and Lucille Owens Crowder. He departed this productive life on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at his residence in Smyrna, Tennessee.
“Poochie as he was affectionately called by his friends and family was educated in Nashville, Tennessee, He was employed as a Truck Driver for several different companies including Yellow Freight.
Wilburt accepted Christ in his life and was a member of Community Christian Church.
He entered holy matrimony with Dorothy Crowder Stewart and later Donie Mae Crowder.
Wilburt was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lucille Crowder, sister, Wanda E. Crowder, children, Barbara Ann Hurd, Wilma J. Milliken, Wilburt J. Crowder, Jr., Michael Moreland, first wife, Dorothy Crowder Stewart, and Donie Mae Crowder.
Those left to cherish his memories are Harold (Mabel) Ewing, Larry (Mildred) Patton, Angela (Joel) Meyers, Ronald (Milagros) Crowder, Rene Patton, Sharon (Fred) Frazier, Brenda (Ricky) Crowder, Jarrell White, April Snellen and Ashley Snellen, 35 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
