Wayne A Travis

Mr. Wayne Anthony Travis was born April 10, 1965, in Paris, Tennessee to the union of Waymon and LaRuth Hutcherson Travis. Wayne departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at AHC Paris in Paris, Tennessee.

Wayne was educated in the Paris Henry County Schools. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was an active member of Quinn Chapel AME Church. Wayne loved serving in his church in any capacity.

Wayne was employed by several local companies around the Paris Henry County area. He was a hard worker and had a sweet and nurturing spirit.

Wayne was preceded in death by both his parents, brothers, Curtis Lee Hutcherson “Bolo”, Earl Travis, Charles Travis and James Travis, two sisters, Helen McCain and Louise Somerville.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted sister, Glenda Warren Travis, Saint Louis, Missouri, brothers, Hafford Jones, Davenport, IA., and Jimmy E. Travis, Paris, Tn. a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
