Wanda Denise Woods

Ms. Wanda Denise Woods was born March 24, 1973, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents of Lillian Woods and Robert Leggs. Wanda departed this sweet life too soon on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Ky.

 Wanda accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was united with Ephesians Baptist Church. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools graduating from Glencliff High School.

 Wanda was employed by Trevecca Nursing Home as a CNA. She enjoyed helping others. In her spare time she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed getting pampered, playing bingo and going to the casino.

 Those left to cherish her sweet memories are her loving children, Nkrumah Ransom, Danyeal Patterson, Ikeshia (Valyncia) Carpenter, sisters, Debbie, Johnnie, LeNeshia, and Frances, brother, Robert, her loving grandchildren, JaQuisa, Nkrumah, Dacorion, Mo’Mycheal, Honestie, Norianna, AuhDesi and Niva, a host of other relatives and friends.
