Vickie Miller

Vickie Marie Miller was born March 17th 1956 in Memphis, TN to the late Mr. Willie James Rogers and the late Mrs. Pauline Caples Beasley. She was called home on October 3rd 2024, surrounded by loving family and friends.

At an early age, Vickie lived her life serving God through belief and faith. She was a proud graduate of Westwood High School, where she excelled in all of her studies. From there she went on to study at Memphis State University for 2.5 years.

She would later meet and marry the love of her life, Mr. Anthony Maurice Miller, on December 20,1974. She and her family later moved to Nashville, TN which became her home.

She was employed at Bell South of Memphis, TN and later in Nashville, TN for 29 years. She later became employed at Primeritus Financial for 15 years where she retired. However, her true passion of hosting, cooking, and entertaining is what she was best known and respected for. Vickie could "throw a party" She was a loving wife, mother, and friend.

Vickie was proceeded in death by her parents Willie James Rogers and Pauline Caples Beasley, as well as her husband Anthony Maurice Miller and her son Marques Randolph Miller (Tanya Mckissack).

Vickie is survived by her son Daryl Andre Caples and her daughter Alisha Marie Jones (Freddie B Carpenter Jr.) Her brother Leroy Ross, sisters Pamela Wilson and Marilyn Robinson. 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, a host of

cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed.
