Tony was educated in Spokane, Washington, graduating from Medical Lake High School. He was a great swimmer, bowler, baseball and football player, and he loved dogs and people.

Tony accepted Christ at an early age while attending Beale AFB Chapel in California and he later became a member of City of Faith International Church in Springfield, Tennessee

Tony was united in Holy Matrimony to Shonda Rochelle Woodard on her birthday September 25, 2015. They have enjoyed seven years of marriage.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Shonda Venson; daughter, Breanna Wheeler; son, Christian Venson; mother, Stella Venson; father, Alvin Venson; loving sister, Tiffani Venson; sisters-in-law, Tomika Woodard, Velvet Mayo of Springfield, TN.; father-in-law, Henry Woodard of Springfield; uncles, Phillip (Josephine) Beene, Alonzo Beene (Brenda); adopted daughter and grandchildren, Annie Graham, Ma’Khiah, Ken-Zariyah, and Nautica Graham; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends; devoted best friends, Ronald “Rollo” Featherston, John Grayson, Maurice Maupin, Sareida Harris, Denise Pettigrew, William Kirby, Jr., and Terry Thompson.
