Timothy Marcus Ball

Timothy (Tiger) Marcus Ball was born January 12, 1960 to the late Elease and James Howard Ball, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He transitioned November 16, 2024 after a long illness.

Timothy was baptized at an early age into The Church of Christ. Throughout his life his faith and belief never waivered. 

Timothy was educated in the Dependent School System before moving to Nashville, where he attended Bordeaux Elementary, Cumberland Junior High, and graduated in the last class from North High School in 1978. While at North High Timothy participated in the band program. After graduation Tim entered the Air Force, serving for 10 years as a computer specialist and plumber. Timothy was an avid reader and loved to talk and debate history.

On Saturday November 16, 2024 Timothy was called from his earthly home to his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Stiles Ball; his parents James and Elease Ball; sister Thezellda Cherlynn Ball; beloved maternal grandmother Fannie Cummins; and paternal grandparents Mable and Sam Ball.

Those left to cherish memories of Timothy are his daughter Cheyenne Ball; son Dakota Ball; brothers Larry(Linda) of Piedmont, AL, Jimmy Edwin; Michael Lewis (Patricia) Ball from Nashville, TN; and his sister Deborah Spear of Fort Washington, MD. He also leaves behind his devoted nephew DeAnthony Spear and his loving cousin Ann Artis. Six grandchildren and two uncles, Samuel and Robert Ball as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
