Thomas William Trotter, Jr.

On  December 19,2023, our beloved father and uncle Thomas William Trotter Junior, passed away into God’s graces after battling a long illness. Thomas is the youngest child born to Thomas and Vivian Trotter on August 25, 1950. He had two older sisters Anne and Wilma. Thomas was born into a close knit family and was educated in the Nashville Metropolitan School system.  He was employed and flourished in hospitality and construction.  He retired from Markham Construction. He married Charlene Vanessa and they stayed lovingly wedded until his passing.  A warrior throughout life, he was 73 years old and still enjoyed traveling,  watching westerns and sports,  casino trips and taking and receiving a good joke.  Thomas is survived by his wife of 48 years,  Charlene Vanessa,  daughter Sheronda Martin, granddaughter Vanessa Falls, sister Wilma Drake, devoted sister in law Alice (James) Hambrick, devoted nieces and nephews Jessica and Calvin Brooks,  Karyn (Wayne) Dixon, Bricen Terrell, a host of grand nieces and nephews and many more of his loving, extended family members. He was preceeded in death by parents Thomas Sr and Vivian, grandmother Mazzie Lawless and sister Anne Franklin.
