Thomas Eugene Moore

Thomas Eugene Moore was born February 19, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Lewis Moore and Helen Marie Patterson. He departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Thomas accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools and was a 1977 graduate of Glenclif High School.

Thomas was employed by several hospitals to include Meharry, Baptist and St. Thomas West hospital which he was happily retired from.

In his spare time Thomas enjoyed coaching youth sports to include, basketball, football and softball. He was a blessing to the community that he served.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Lewis Moore and Helen Davis.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Thomas Moore, Jr., sister, Janet (Byron) Brown, brother, Lugene (Dwana) Davis, aunt, Jesse Patterson, uncles, Robert Patterson, nieces and nephews, close friends, Wayne Russell, Edward Rigsby, Kelly Miller and Loretta Dobson, uncle, Leslie Patterson.
