Thearson (Terry) Devan Carver was born November 20, 1964, in Bowling Green, KY to the late Helen Ruth Carver and Rolanda (Tiggy) Caise. He departed this earthly life on January 29, 2025. Lovingly known to his family and friends as Terry, his life was marked by kindness, quiet strength, and an unwavering love for those around him. His gentle demeanor and warm presence brought comfort to everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, and those who had the privilege of knowing him.
While living in Indianapolis, Indiana Terry dedicated his life to Christ at an early age, where he was baptized at Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Terry’s mother passed away when he was 20 years old. Her death left a large impact on his life. He clung to his family more to ease the pain of his loss and became more like a brother to many of his cousins, digging roots in Indianapolis, IN, Bowling Green, KY, and later he moved to Nashville, TN and joined Mount Zion Baptist Church. During his lifetime he enjoyed fishing, meeting new people, and was harmless to a fault. Terry would do almost anything for the people he loved and was often heard saying, “I’ll Do It”!
Terry was preceded in death by his brother Darcy Roberson. He leaves behind a son, Oliver (Tiffany) Cole, Chesapeake, VA, a daughter: Sierra of Franklin, KY, brothers, David (Monica) Roberson Sr., and Rodriguez and Ervin Roberson, all of Louisville, KY, uncles: Rev. Fred R. (Laura) Carver Jr., Frederick Barksdale, aunts Patricia Britt and Cherrlyn (Lee) Hawes, all of Bowling Green, KY and a host of loving cousins, extended family and friends.
The family of the late Thearson (Terry) Carver would like to express their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to our beloved family and friends for the many acts of kindness during the illness and passing of our loved one.
