Terrese Lamont Patterson

Terrese Lamont Patterson Sr. was born on January 10, 1976 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Michael Turney and Barbara Patterson. He departed this earthly life on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Terrese was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public School Systems, graduating from Whites Creek High School.

Terrese was employed with Mama Turney’s Pies, Papa Turney’s BBQ, and Beard’s Landscaping. He enjoyed watching sports, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.

Terrese was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Green.

He leaves to cherish his memories son, Tirrese Newsom, daughter, Tylesa Newsom-Flye, grandchildren, Tyrrese Flye Jr., Taharri Flye, Tylen Newsom, Tynell Newsom, mother, Barbara Patterson, father, Michael (Gwatholyn) Turney, brother, James Patterson, sister, Ola Patterson, step-brothers, Gerald Green, Michael Green, James Green, cousins, Darnell Patterson, Sheneka Gordon, Danielle Gordon, uncles, Donald Patterson, Lamont Patterson, aunt, Carolyn Patterson,  and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
