Tatiyana Monay Lavender was born in Nashville, Tennessee on October 5, 1997, to Yoshamika Lavender and Eric Cosby. She passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
She was affectionately called “Lucky” by family and friends alike. Lucky was educated in the Metropolitan Davidson County School System and graduated from Hunters Lane Comprehensive High School. Not only was she a star basketball player there but soared in basketball at Vol State Community College from where she graduated as well.
The discipline she learned from being an avid basketball player, played a major role in the way Lucky lived her life. She was always on time, in the right position, and finished whatever task that was ahead.
Lucky was a very giving and loving person. The love of her life will always be “JJ”, her son, her little basketball star.
Lucky was proceeded in death by her grandfather Joe Rutledge.
