Tammy Warfield was born on Friday, January 14th, 1966 to a loving mother, Dorothy Odessa Warfield (last name at the time of Tammy’s birth-later became Dorothy Odessa Groves by marriage) in Guthrie, Kentucky.
She was educated in Springfield, Tennessee and was a graduate of Springfield High School in the class of 1984.
Soon after graduating, she gave birth to her first child, Tia Jamison and married her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey Jamison. A couple years after that, she gave birth to her second and last child, Julian Jamison.
Tammy professed a life in Christ and was baptized in June 1990 at the first Seventh-day Adventist Church in Springfield Tennessee.
Tammy was a Licensed Practical Nurse by profession and earned her Associates of Science degree from Nashville College working in various Healthcare facilities around the middle Tennessee area. She was well loved by those who worked with her and by her patients as well.
Tammy was a very hard working woman and she encouraged her children to also accomplish their goals. She was able to buy her final home that was big enough for her to be able to help family members in need and at one time she turned her home into a group home that housed her clients that she was responsible for.
Outside of working, she enjoyed interior design, cooking, gardening, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren.
On the night of Thursday, December 14, 2023, Tammy Warfield departed this life.
Tammy depart this life on December 14th, 2023 and leaves to cherish: a daughter Tia Jamison of Nashville, TN and a son Julian(Juliet) Jamison of Mountain View, CA. She absolutely loved her grandchildren leaving to cherish her granddaughters Amani Reid, Jordan Jamison, and Jade Jamison, one grandson Torin Jaheir Mckissick. Also left to mourn is her sister Carolyn Ann Warfield of Guthrie, KY, brother Saad Yazid(Sophia) of Indianapolis, IN, sister Doris Ann Young(Nick) of Clarksville, TN, sister Lisa Groves of Springfield, TN, and a brother Troy Groves of Paducah, KY, Lorene Patterson, Maggie Majors, Suvenia Anderson, Tina Dewberry, Antone Groves, Cleo Patterson. Aunt Rose May Warfield of Guthrie KY. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.
