Tamika Rashunda Bender

Tamika Rashunda McCann Bender was born on August 7, 1983 in West Point, Mississippi to Charles and Patricia McCann. She entered into rest on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Vanco Manor Nursing and Rehab in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Tamika was educated in Metro Nashville Davidson County Public Schools, attending McGavock High School. She worked in retail for a number of years.

Tamika was friendly, outgoing, and kindhearted with a willingness to help others. She loved music and journaling. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Tamika was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Hattie Lee Carouthers, Ola Mae McCann, and grandfather, Daniel McCann Sr.

She leaves behind a daughter, Tybella McCann, parents, Charles and Patricia McCann, sister Portia McCann, brother, Charvez McCann, nieces, Irihanna McCann, Danyia McCann, nephews, Kemari McCann, Koran McCann, grandfather, W.T. Green, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
