Sarah Ann Thomas

Sarah Ann Thomas was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 30,1953 to the union of Raymond and Lorraine McClendon. She went to heavenly rest on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and later united with Faith is the Victory Church. She received her formal education in Knoxville, Tennessee attending Maynard & Green Elementary, Austin- East, and she was a graduate of George Washington High School. After graduation she attended UT Knoxville and Cali State University.

Sarah worked in sales with T-Moblie, AT&T, and L.M. Berry. She enjoyed movies, sports, and traveling. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!
Sarah was formally Married to Floyd Thomas in 1988. She was preceded in death by her son David McClendon, parents Raymond and Lorraine McClendon, and niece Felicia McClendon.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Jasmine Thomas, son Floyd Thomas III., devoted father to her children Floyd Thomas, sisters Cherry, Charlotte, Gwendolyn McClendon, and Lorraine Smith of Knoxville, granddaughters Tykia Watkins, Meila Harvey, grandson Patravius Hayes, many devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins, special friends Mary Womble (Twink), Kiyoka Rainey (KiKi), Tonya Johnson. Sarah had a love for her family and friends and always willing to help, encourage, advise others in life.

Visitation Friday January 28, 2022, 10-11am with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Bordeaux Cemetery.
