Sandra Elaine Friend

Ms. Sandra Elaine Friend was born on May 24, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to the union of Mary and George Greir. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

Ms. Sandra was educated in Flint, Michigan, graduating from Northwestern High School, class of 1971. She was employed with Rosehaven Manor Retirement Home in Flint, Michigan as a caretaker for many years.

Ms. Sandra was blessed with a loving family. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting, and music. She was also very passionate about her family; especially her nieces and nephews. Sandra Friend will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Mary and George Grier, sister, Linda Grier, and her brothers Damor Grier, and George Grier Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, LaJuane Friend, grandchildren, Jaylen M. Shock, Jordan L. Shock, Cheyenne D. Harris, Jaeda Bieber, Zaire (Marie Lena) Riley, great grandchild Nova Marie, sisters, Regina Grier, Banita (William) Green, Brenda Grier, Yolanda (Harvest) Williams, Lisa (Gregory) Hamilton, a host of nieces and nephews, LaReka Grier, Taneisa Grier, Shanaya (Herley) Macklin, Nikia Grier, Sasha Legette, Sharia Legette, Aaron Grier, Adrian Echols, Jasmine Parker-Grier, Montell Grier, Sincere Green, Lovey Green, and many more, great nieces, and great nephews. Viewing Friday, April 2, 2022, 2-5,pm Visitation Saturday, April 2, 2022, 9-10:00am with funeral to follow at funeral Home.
