Sancia Raye Blivens

Ms. Sancia Raye Blivens was born June 18, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of William Blivens and Pearlie Mae Hammonds. She departed this peaceful life on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sancia accepted Christ in her life and was united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Sancia was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools and was a graduate of McGavock High School.

After graduation Sancia enlisted in the Armed Forces branch of the Army. She served from 1985 – 1987 and was honorably discharged. After her service time she returned to Nashville and was employed by Vanderbilt Hospital.

In her spare time, she enjoyed swimming and spending time with her family.

Sancia leaves to cherish her memories her loving mother, Pearlie May Hammonds, sisters, Charlotta, Brenda, Arlene, Darlene, Jessica, son, Bruce Ewin, grandson, Bruce Ewin, Jr., nieces and nephews, Annetta, Junior, Yolanda, D’Mitri & D’Mitra, April, Michael, Cedric, Tameka, LaShonda, Stacy, Tenisha, Jessica, close friends, Shirley Ann Higgins, Donna Higgins, Donna Floyd, Anita, Novella, Robbie Zunk.
