Sally Stanley

Sally Ann Stanley was born April 19, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Vernon Leggs and Lizzie Anderson Leggs. She departed this peaceful life on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Tennessee Veterans Home in Murfreesboro, Tn.

 Sally was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a graduate of Haynes High School. She continued her education in vocational school where she received her manicurist License.

Sally married the love of her life Alonzo Stanley, Jr. in 1960 and they enjoyed many years of love and friendship.

 Sally was self employed as a Manicurist for years. She was also employed with Sears Department Store.

In her spare time, she enjoyed singing, she was a lover of music.

 She was preceded in death by both parents, Vernon and Lizzie Leggs as well as her husband, Alonzo Stanley, Jr.

 Those left to cherish her memories are her loving and devoted son, Alonzo, III (Abbigail Elaine) Stanley, granddaughters, Alivia Burkett Stanley and Avery Elaine Stanley, nieces, Liz Leggs and Sandy Johnson, siblings, Alice Leggs and Bobby Leggs, several other relatives and friends.
