Sadie Mae Patton

Age 90, passed away February 25, 2022.

Mrs. Sadie Mae Patton was born on August 10, 1931 in Columbus, Tennessee to her mother Betty Baxter. She departed this earthly life on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Sadie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savoir at an early age, and she later united with Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Mama Sadie loved God when she was unable to go to church she read her bible every day.

Sadie was united in Holy Matrimony to George William Patton in 1965, they enjoyed many years of marriage until his passing.

Sadie was employed with May Hosiery Mill for 2 years and Steiner Lift for 30 plus years, she retired in June 1998. She enjoyed cooking, watching tv, and spending time with family and friends.

Sadie was preceded in death by her husband George W. Patton Sr., mother Betty Baxter, sons Desi and George Jr., and nephew Antron Crook.

She leave to cherish her memories sons Roy (Audrey) Patton, James (Naomi) Patton, daughters Renee Mullins, Lolitha Crook, brother Bobby Baxter, and a host of grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing Monday, March 7, 2022, 1-5pm. Visitation Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Middle Tn. State Veterans Cemetery.
