Ruth Young

Ruth departed this life on September 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her Parents James Horace and Ruth J Thomas and Brother James Ray Thomas. She is survived by Sisters Ruby Elaine (Billy) Townsend, Rita Elyse Thomas, Rebecca Euann Harriet Thomas and Brother Jeffrey Reece (Janet) Thomas, Sr, nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives. Ruth was a caring and giving person. She continued that in death through the gift of Anatomical Donation. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday October 16, 2021 at Schrader Lane Church of Christ. Family Hour 11:00-12:00 Memorial Service 12-1:00. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions Social Distancing and Masks are Required. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Biology Department at Tennessee State University in the name of Ruth T. Young.
