Rose Anna Anthony

Rose West Anthony was born November 24, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, Floreader West and Jasper Sharpe. Rose ascending to heaven to begin her new life with her Lord and Savior on Sunday April 28, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Rose accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was united with Dixon Memorial United Methodist Church.   

Rose was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools and was a 1973 graduate of North High School. Rose was a warm and passionate person. This trait was the foundation of her career I hospitality.

Rose enjoyed helping people, her calm, mild mannered, humble spirit propelled her to be the human that she was.  She was later employed at the Country Music Hall of Fame; her attributes and sensitivity garnered her overwhelming compliments from the guests that she served during their visit. Rose never met a stranger.

In her spare time Rose loved to read and watch game shows on television. Her daily routine included chatting on the telephone with friends and family.  Her spirit will be loved and remembered by all.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Sharpe and Floreader West, son, Shawn T. Anthony, and sister, Gloria Marie Roach.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her loving and devoted son, Paul D. Anthony, Jr., devoted companion Thomas Ashworth; two brothers, Jasper L. West, and Willis E. West, three grandchildren, Marquis, Brittany, and Jaida Anthony, great grandchildren, Sammy Anthony and Madison Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
