Roosevelt Miller, Jr. “Punkin” as he was affectionately called was born on April 12, 1966 to loving parents Bernice Cockrill and Roosevelt Miller, Sr. He peacefully entered eternal life on March 30, 2024 at Tri Star Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Roosevelt received his education in the Metropolitan Nashville Davidson County School System and was a graduate of Maplewood High School.
Roosevelt accepted Christ in his life and fellowshipped with Celebration Christian Center under the leadership of Bishop Monterey D. Lee until his passing.
Roosevelt loved entertaining and being with family and friends. This was a special time.
Roosevelt was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Cockrill, brother Michael, and sister Lisa.
Those left to cherish precious memories his son, Deonvelt Miller, daughter, Mekhi Miller, step-son Quince Cannon (Shannon Cannon), Paris Miller, Zane Miller, Kobe Miller, Ariel Miller Aces Miller, Miles Scares, Kasmina Scates, brothers Donald (Pamela)Miller and Darrell Miller, step-sister, Kiana Sims, aunts, Linda Cockrill, Maxine Bradley, Carolyn Payne and Ivey Lee Majors. great aunt Ruth Bradley, nephew, Bernard Johnson, nieces Monchelle Haynes, Sanetrice Horton,, great nieces Kanetrice Appleton, Kichelle Appleton, great nephews Patrick Benoit, Amir Williams, a host of cousins, other loving family and dear friends.
