Ronald Donnell Short

Ronald Donnell Short was born on June 28, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Linda Dale Short and Ronald Prentice. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Ronald was educated in the Davidson County School Systems, attending Pearl Cohn High School. He was employed with Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) for 13 years.

Ronald enjoyed riding around in his truck, rapping and spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Ronald Prentice.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, mother Linda Short, step-father Robert Mays, Jr., sister, Nicole Short, brother, Robert(Melissa) Short, nephews, James “Shakey” Short, Troy (Gabbi) Webb, Jr., Robert Short, Ronald Short, Ra’leigh Short, and Man Man, great nephew Ayden Short, aunts, Kathy Esaw, Connie Esaw and Ann Esaw, uncle, Venciel Esaw, special friends, Natasha Wilson, LaQuita Nolan, good friend, Calvin Price, brother-in-law, Tyrone Smith, special family members, and Natasha Maddix , cousins, Leroy Grinstead, Rodney Grinstead and Lolita Esaw, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friend. Viewing Thursday, March 24, 2022, 1-6 at Funeral Home. Visitation Friday, March 25, 2022, 11-12 with funeral to follow at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church 1417 10th Ave. North. Burial in Bordeaux SDA Cemetery.
