Ricky Goliath Gilbert

Mr. Ricky Goliath Gilbert was born on August 27, 1955 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the union LeRoy and Fairybelle Gilbert.  Ricky transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at his residence in McKenzie, Tennessee. Ricky was educated in the Carroll County School System, and was a graduate of  McKenzie High School.

Ricky accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with Henry Pentecostal Church. Ricky was united in holy matrimony to Lesia Gilbert in 1994. This union was blessed with one daughter.

Ricky was employed by the HIS Company in Bruceton, Tennessee as a materials handler for a number of years. In his spare time he enjoyed sitting around relaxing and enjoying family and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Fairybelle Gilbert, sisters, Geneva (Melvin) Carter, of McKenzie, Tennessee, and Mary Gill of Cleveland, Ohio.

Those left to cherish precious memories are his daughters, Kristian Nolen, Barstow, California, and Janessa Gilbert, Huntington, Tennessee; sisters Fairene Simmons Cleveland, Ohio, Donna Gilbert Trenton, Tennessee; brother, Roger Gilbert Atlanta, Georgia, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; a very dear and friend Lesia Gilbert; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
