Richard E. Jones

Richard E. Jones Sr. was born on February 11, 1954 in Jackson, Tennessee to the union of Jim and Beatrice Jones. He entered into rest on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Richard was educated in Madison County School Systems. He was employed in the construction industry as a Cement Mason for many years. Richard enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him!

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Beatrice Jones, and sisters, Bettie Allen, Carolyn Parrish and Willie L. Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted sons, Richard Jones, Jr. Michael Jones, and Bryant (Tiffaney) Spencer, bonus daughter, Laquita Foster, dedicated daughters-in-law, Lea Jones, Erica Mason, grandchildren, Lamonte’ (Quaniesha) Thompson- Jones, Antwanae (Darius) Anderson, Richae Jones, Bryant Parker, Charlton Spencer, Ke’Arie Spencer, Mikye Spencer, Jayden Spencer, Kerree Spencer, Chelsea Lynch, Gabriella Jones, Mikira Jones, Macaela Jones, Aaliyah Phillips, Michael Jones, Jr., Danielle, Nathaniel Beard, Johnetta Beard, Brian Williams, Breana Williams, devoted family members, Barbara Givens, Victoria Rogers, Michael Booth, a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
