Rev. Ricardo E. Lang was born on January 16, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Edward Gill and Dorothy Lang. He departed this life on Monday, April 24, 2023 at his residence in Madison, Tennessee.
Rev. Lang was educated in the Davidson County Public School Systems, attending Head School and graduating from Pearl High School, class of 1971. He continued his education by attending Tennessee State University (TSU), receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in 1974.
Rev. Lang was united in Holy Matrimony to Georgia Sanders and they have enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
Rev. Lang enlisted in the United States Army in 1978. He was employed with Metro, Meharry Medical College, and as a barber. He enjoyed golf, music (gospel, jazz, old school, classic), playing guitar, horns, piano, and keyboards.
Rev. Ricardo E. Lang was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Gill and Dorothy Lang, brother, William Gill, and sister, Margie Russell.
Those left to cherish his memories loving wife Georgia Sanders Lang, children, Charlene (Mauria) Cason, Adrain Norfleet, Ricky (Shanda) Lang, Randy Kincherlow, Addonis Bradley, Tracy Jones, Kenya (Terrance) Haynes, Aquellah Lang, Jarvinette Hurst, Jarvis Lang, brother, Ronnie Gill, sisters, Deborah Lang, Donna Gill, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, cousins, Omega Psi Phi Family, Mt. Bethel Church Family, and friends.
