HUNT, Rev. Richard D. Age 68 of Nashville. November 26, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Willie Mae Hunt; brother, Lewis Hunt; sisters, Rebecca League and Maude Nunley. Served as Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over 29 years. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Nettye Lewis Hunt; daughter, Chitquita Hunt Ward; brothers, Willie Amos (Vera) Hunt, John C. Hunt, Curtis Hunt and Jesse Hunt; sister, Judy Hunt; mother-in-law, Thelma B. Lewis; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Betty) Lewis, Reginald (Annette) Lewis, Lloyd Lewis, Frederick Lewis, Michael Lewis, Michael Ford and Ernest Ford; sister-in-law, Aurelia Lewis; two grandchildren, Brian Jr. and Camden Ward; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and the loving Tabernacle Baptist Church Family. Pastor Hunt will lie in state at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2214-12th Ave. So., Thursday, December 1st from 5-7 p.m. Visitation will be Friday, December 2nd from 10-11 a.m., at The Temple Church, 3810 Kings Lane, funeral services to follow.
