BABB, Rev. Joe Edward Age 71, entered peacefully into eternal rest surrounded at home by his loving family on Friday, September 9, 2011. Preceding him in death were parents, Aamon Babb, Sr. and Eunice Holland Babb; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Left to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Leslie Marie Babb; daughters, Dekedria Joy Babb, Nieta L. Babb, Enid P. (Ernest) Lewis and Forvia F. (Anthony) Cartwright; sisters, Burlena Pride, Mary Babb Crawford, Josephine (Charles) Chestnut and Donna (George) Pollard; brothers, Aamon Babb, Jr. and Charles Babb; sister-in-law, Susie P. Babb; uncle, Dr. Morgan Babb; extended family, Alivia (Larry) Watson, Robert Crawford, Sr., Faye (Ronald) Elliott, Rufus Crawford, Jr. and Vickye (Kenny Bass) Kelly; 22 grandchildren; 2 devoted grandsons, Darian Belser and Joshua Walker; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 devoted great-grandson, Dominique Crawford; brothers-in-law, Phillip Pratt, Ronald (Barbara) Pratt, David Pratt and Kenny Pratt; god-daughters, Donita Sweatt and Melissa Bryant; a host of loving nieces and nephews, many, wonderful friends. Public viewing for Rev. Babb Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 12 Noon until 6 p.m., with family hour 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
