Mr. Randell Wayne Gooch was born on June 15, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Hazel Annlaura Gooch and Roger Clark. He departed this earthly life on Saturday May 18, 2024, at the age of 63.
Randall was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System, graduating from McGavock High School. Randall enlisted in the United States Armed Forces branch of the Army. He received an honorable discharge.
Randall was a mechanically inclined person which drew him to study machinery and interested in working on cars. He often would help and work with the late Billy Lyttle, which he gained additional knowledge while working on cars. If anyone in the family of friends had any issues with their cars you could call Randall and he could tell you what was needed and would do his best to get it fixed for you.
Randall has volunteered at the Nashville Rescue Mission and Operation Stand Down where he has participated in different programs with both facilities.
Randall enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he was a huge Tennessee Titans fan. Randall will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Hurt and Robbie Gooch.
Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Jeremy Johnson, daughter, Alissa Fowler, fiancé, Karen McElroy, sisters, Annette (Hubert) Rockmore, Sheila (Greg) Hart, Angela, Arlinda, Betty, Pat and Penny, brothers, Cordell, Calvin, Michael, Jojo, aunts, Lucy May McCord, Maryann Bradley, uncles, Johnny, George, Kevin 4 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
