Mr. Quincy Larmell Wilson was born to Ozie B. and Brenda Wilson on August 1, 1976. He was a native and resided most of his life in Nashville, Tennessee. On May 7, 2024 he was called home suddenly and entered into eternal rest at TriStar Skyline Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee
Quincy was preceded in death by his parents Ozie B and Brenda Wilson; six siblings Monica “Binky”, Kenneth “Kenny”, Patricia , Ozie “ Junebug” , Beverly and Norman Wilson; two great nieces, Brentrice “Tricey” and Jordin “Jo Jo”, all whom he adored. Quincy professed his faith in Christ at an early age at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.
He was not an avid church goer but he knew and loved the Lord. Quincy received his education from the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, graduating from Stratford High School class of 1995. Quincy loved to cook and was a chef for many years. Cooking for a great deal of restaurants with Scoreboard in Opryland being his favorite. He was indeed a sports fanatic and in his spare time you could catch him watching a game and cheering on the team he’d likely had a bet on. He had a love and admiration for the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Braves and to watch them live and in person really gave him a thrill and was always a big deal. Quincy’s charming, gentle, and humorous personality. Quincy's charming, gentle and humorous personality made him easy to befriend, winning the hearts of most. His smile and laughter was one of a kind! Being the baby of the crew, being spoiled can't be denied! He will be missed tremendously.
He leaves to cherish his memories, loving sisters Sherry (Larry) Lee and Ida Hunter; devoted brother in love, James Lockett; devoted nephew Ashley (Nycorya) Wilson, loving and devoted nieces Latricia “Missy” (Timothy) Johnson, Tiffany (Tederick) Armstrong, Brandi (Marques) Carter, Victoria “Tori” (Steve) Billings, Ozia Hunter”Punky”; great nephews Nate, Tyree, T.J. Mikian, J, Max Cam, Kei, Mason, Emory and Kobe; great niece Breonna; aunts Karyn (David) Clay, Esther, Brenda and Trenna Wilson; uncle McFarren (Monei )Wright; devoted friend Cary Justice, loving and devoted companion, Carolyn “Sherry” Woods a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends- too numerous to name.
