Phillip Malachi Whitehead was born on May 30, 2002, to Ronnie and Lillian Whitehead. He gained his angel wings and peace on February 12, 2022.
Phillip accepted Christ as his Savior at a very young age while attending Mt. Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Clinton M. Lewis.
He graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2021. Phillip was a beautiful soul, a soul that loved his family and friends immensely. His handsome smile could light up a room and his infectious laugh will truly be missed. His passion for producing music was his favorite pastime, along with “frying” his siblings, friends and any other person that he felt needed it.
Phillip is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vera O. Maddox-Whitehead and paternal grandmother, Mary Turner.
Phillip is survived by his loving mother, Lillian Maddox-Whitehead; father, Ronnie Whitehead; brother, Dakota Maddox(Lakeeta); sisters, Nina-Simone Whitehead, Ronni-Nicole Whitehead and Chiquita Whitehead; aunts, Drenetta Mahlaule, Francis Maddox, Debra Maddox, and Mary Wilson; uncles, Robert Maddox(Angela), Morris Green(Linda), Dan Freeman(Sheila), Tony Griffin, and Will Griffin; nephews, Antonio Maddox, Clay Walker, and George Todd-Stubbs; nieces, Kharliyah Foxx and Da’Khiyah Maddox; special friends, Chamjock Chamjock, Zamira Collins, Tariq Anderson, Seiki Baker, Allie Duke, Samia Humphrey, and Amari Nunn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
