Peggy Delois Peters-Wiley was born April 03, 1955, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Wade Peters and Earline Johnson. Peggy departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Peggy received her education at Southeast High School in Springfield, Illinois. In 1994 she married Larry Wiley in Springfield, Illinois, and after several years relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.
Peggy was employed as a Home Healthcare worker in Nashville, Tennessee.
Peggy accepted Christ in her life at an early age and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Springfield, Illinois. Peggy loved her family, shopping, reading, listening to music, and cooking.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Larry Wiley, (Mom) Earline Clay, (Grandparents) John & Georgia Johnson, and John & Lela Peters, (Stepson) Larry Wiley Jr., (Aunts) Prescilla Patrick, Lucille Royal, Eleanor Peters, Ida Jones, Ollie Jones, and Marranda Peyton, (Uncles) Jerrold Johnson, Robert Patrick, Elijah Johnson, Alphonso Royal, James Peters, Issac Peters, and Johnie Peters, (Siblings) Carolyn Johnson, Dayton Johnson, and Lisa Johnson, and beloved former husband Joseph Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memories; three daughters, Toni Peters-Childrous, Autumn Davis, and Cayenne Wiley. Stepchildren, Kaylynn Wiley, Kondo (Crystal) Wiley, Kahyeen Wiley, Khalid Wiley, Keisha Wiley, and Kwende Wiley. Siblings, Diana Peters, Norman Peters, Cheryl Johnson, Tarence Johnson, Sheila (Terry) Peters, Betty Jones, Angel (Shaun) Clemons, Jerrold Johnson, and sister in law Kaylynn (Roland) Rose. Grandchildren, Milaesha Davis, JaSaveon Wilson, La’Mya Childrous, LeShaela Wilson, Demond Bond Jr, D’Zyire Davis, De’Moni Davis, Joshua Watson, Briayle Bishop, and Ra’Nyah Bishop; a cherished and highly favored cousin Anthony Peters; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
