Patricia Joyce Sankey

Patricia Joyce Sankey was born on March 17, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Fred D. Sankey. She departed this earthly life on Monday, March 27, 2023.

Patricia received her formal education in Davidson County Public School Systems, graduating from Cameron High School. She continued her education by graduating from Knoxville College with a Psychiatric Social Work Degree. While in High School and College she participated in a variety of social club, from choir to the newspaper.

Patricia accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized February 24, 1973 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Patricia loved to travel, while living in Dallas Texas for 23 years she was employed with a number of agencies, utilizing her degree in social work.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Evelyn Sankey.

She leaves to cherish her memory sister, Iris Epperson, nieces & nephews, Cynthia Lyons (Lawrence & Steven Lyons), Enrico (Carla) Jones Lauren & Adam Jones), Tracy Dixon (Alexis Dixon), Christopher Epperson (Mariah, Bryan, Jordan, and Andrew Epperson) and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
