Pastor Taylor was preceded in death by his godfather and uncle James Williamson, Jr.; sister Teresa Buchanan; grandson Alexander Hardy; and stepfather William Terrell, Sr. He leaves a legacy to honor and cherish his memory, devoted wife First Lady Carrie Denise Taylor; children Louis (Teanna Turner) Taylor, Jr., Teacher Kandi (Deacon Allen IV) Hall, Tamara Taylor, Cayla Harris; grandchildren Kierrion Taylor, Gavhn Taylor, Braden Pointer, Isaiah Taylor, Xavier Taylor, Adonius Turner, Louis Taylor; great-grandchild Kingston Taylor; mother Hattie Terrell; godmother and aunt Mattie Williamson; parents-in-law Pastor Emeritus John and Johnnie Holt; siblings Loretta (Carver) Blassingame, Reana (James) Stokes, William Terrell, Jr.; siblings-in-law Terri (Leroy) Buggs, Pastor Jerry (Terri) Holt, Sr.; aunts Elizabeth Mays, Sarah Richardson, Otrivia Seay; uncle Louis (Joyce) Seay, Jr.; spiritual father Bishop Hal Robinson, Jr.; special friends Dr. Eddie L.
