Orlandon Gaines

Orlandon A. Gaines was born December 14, 1958, in Nashville TN to the late John and Mary Gaines. He fell asleep in death on March 28, 2025.

Orlandon studied God’s word the Bible and he serve with the North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he gave Bible readings and work along with others to share what he had learned from the Bible.

Orlandon, better known as Orlando or Butch was employed at Centennial Hospital. He attended North High School, Nashville, TN.

He met Janice Campbell through his sister, and they married on July 6,1993. A union that lasted for 31 years.

Orlandon, better known as Orlando or Butch was a loving, kind, and peaceful man. He enjoyed westerns movies and playing football with his friends. Everyone who knew him knew that he loved fried chicken, so much so that his wife called him “Chicken Hawk”!

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Mary and John Gaines, Sisters, Alesa Nuby, and Felita Gaines.

Children: Larry Frierson, Janitra Campbell, and Jerron Campbell, Grandchildren: Jerronica Campbell, Jayla Campbell, Jevaun Sanderfer, Jashawnna Covington, Jerron Campbell, Jr., Jekobi Campbell, Prince Burks, Ah’onesti Campbell, and Dewayne Campbell, Jelia Campbell and Jamia Campbell.
