PITT-TURNER, Ophelia Of Nashville, passed into the Lord's hands on April 18, 2012 after a wonderful, blessed life. She was a librarian for the City of Nashville and teacher in the Davidson County Public School System. Ophelia was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Jury Turner and daughter, Joyce Turner. Survived by her daughters, Floy (Moses) Taylor of San Jose, CA, Juanell (Quinton) Wiggins, Atlanta, GA and Lyris Bursey (fiance, Fernandor) of San Jose, CA; sisters, Elizabeth Wortham and Anna Jackson, Nashville, TN and Edith (Bill) Miller, Coca Beach, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 10-10:40 a.m., with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Service to follow, and Celebration of Life Service following Sorority Service at 11 a.m., at St. Luke CME Church, 2008 Ed Temple Blvd., Nashville, TN.
