Nancy Joanne Mays

Nancy Joanne Mays was born March 10^th 1960 in Hartford, Connecticut to the union of Margaret Mays-Spicer and William Ledbetter. She entered into rest on Saturday, June 4^th at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Nancy received her education in the public schools of Hartford Connecticut, graduating from Weaver High School. She later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Where she raised her family and was employed with Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Nancy enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents William Ledbetter and Margaret Mays.

She leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Robert (Sandrea) Mays, Talon Mays, Charles Mays, sisters, Janet (Lemmie) Goodloe, Helyn Lee, Theresa Williams, Laverne Mitchell, brothers, Jimmie Mays, William Ledbetter, Jr., God Mother, Victoria Lee, grandchildren, Jakiyah Mays, Paisley Mays, Tylonna Mays, Kindrick Mays, devoted friend, Darryl Sweat, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Viewing Sunday, June 12, 2022, 2-4pm, visitation Monday, June 13, 2022, 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Greenwood North.
