Mark Steele Davis was born April 17, 1955 to Grace Jenkins Davis of South Carolina, daughter of Paul and Flossie Jenkins; Father, Felton C. Davis Sr. of Lakeland Florida. He was the 2nd oldest of five boys. He was called home to the resting Arms of the Lord on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Tennessee Valley Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he enlisted in the United States Army as a Medical Staff Sergeant. While in Germany he completed High School, by attending and graduating from Germany Wiesbaden Army High School. Mark later retired and settled in Clarksville, Tennessee, where he fell in love with Deborah of Clarksville and had one daughter.

After the military he attended Trevecca College, He continued his schooling, always taking course online and growing in the knowledge of the world from a Historical Biblical View-point. He enjoyed read, study, and discuss any bible subject. He is what we call a prayer warrior. Mark loved to Witness, Worship and share what he had with others from food, to washing other people’s clothing who couldn't do for themselves, nor pay him back. He loved people which was a reflection of his mother’s heart of GRACE.

Growing up Mark was always the fastest, and could sing songs by the Dramatics, Delfonics, Temptations and O’Jays. Mark also had a good ear for three-part harmony and sung from His Heart!

He always would get the prettiest girl friends growing up because he could sing and dance. Mark could draw anything he look at, he also loved to play chess, spades, and bowl. Everywhere he traveled, Washington D.C., Fort Belvoir V.A., Washington State, Germany, Mark stood out as a leader. Mark was one of the original OG’s He lived what the rappers sing about now.

Mark suffered from a weak heart! He fought 5 massive heart attacks and two light heart attacks while in the hospital going through cardio rehab he overcame the Flu, Pneumonia, and Covid-19. Mark was a real fighter. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him!!!
