Mildred Coleman-Shull

On, June 1, 2023, Mrs. Mildred Coleman-Shull passed away peacefully at the age of 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer. Mildred was born August 28, 1942 to Dorothy Coleman and Calvin
Clark. Mildred married Thomas Hoyal Shull where they celebrated 23 years of marriage prior to
his passing November 19, 1983. Their union brought four lovely children, Cynthia Ann, Camille,
Brian, and Jonathan. Mrs. Mildred was born in Birmingham Alabama where she resided until the
age of fifteen moving to Detroit Michigan graduating from North High School.

Mrs. Mildred spent a short time in the military where she met and married Thomas while married
the two spent time in Japan, Germany, Korea, and Kansas City before making their home in
Nashville. Mrs. Mildred was a stay-at-home mother where she cared deeply for her husband and
children. Before becoming ill, Mrs. Mildred was an active member at Gordon Memorial where
she served on the Usher Board, Trustee Board and was a member of Links. Mrs. Mildred was an
exceptional caregiver. She nourished everyone in her care as her ministry to God. She was
always available to family, friends, and strangers with a smile and a word of encouragement. To
know her was to love her and God's people.

Mrs. Mildred is survived by her precious daughter Camille, her exceptional son Jonathan and her
lovely grandson Brandon. She is also survived by her nephew, Maurice Shull. She was
predeceased by her husband Thomas, her children, Cynthia Ann and Brian.

Mrs. Mildred loved her family, her laughter was contagious, outgoing personality, willingness to
endure, and presence will be missed by all who knew her.
