Michael Leondra Merrimon was born on September 30, 1972, to Johnny Merrimon, Jr. and Cheryl Harden-Nolan in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.
He departed this life peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Michael had his hope in Jesus Christ and was reared in the faith of The Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was educated in the Nashville Metropolitan Public School System. He later earned his G.E.D. Diploma and enlisted in the Navy where he served for five years.
After service Michael worked in different cities and states doing odd and end jobs. He settled down in the state of Indiana where he lived and worked.
Up until the time of his passing he was employed as a shipping dock Coordinator for Sazerac Company.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Joan Harden.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving and devoted daughter, Jasmine Pitts and sons, Jordan Lucius and Cameron Merrimon, mother and stepfather, Anthony & Cheryl Nolan, father and stepmother, Johnny & Virgie Merrimon, sisters, Joy Nolan and Shea (Jeff) Crawford, Janna Merrimon, brothers, Jamil and Jahmad, Alberto Merrimon, grandfather, Charles S. Harden, Sr. (Annie), nephew, Elijah Nolan and good friend, Melanie Rogers, aunts, Cynthia Harden, Phaedra Harden, Philona Harden-Wilson (Terrence), Mary Johnson, Carolyn Merrimon, Deborah Merrimon-Sharpe, Susann Merrimon-Lee, uncles, Llewellyn Harden (Sadie), Garland Kimbro (Jackie), devoted and loving fiancé’ Michele Romic, other guardians, Karynne Nolan, Billy & Jonell Hochadel and Joe Vassen.
