Mary Frances Rucker-Williams

On May 5, 2024, Mary Frances Williams, of Nashville, Tn. was peacefully called to her Heavenly Home at TriStar Skyline Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee. Mary Frances Williams was born on December 24, 1946 to the late Felix Williams, Jr and Corneila Rucker. Mary accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was untied with Gospel United Missionary Baptist Church for over 45 years. Mary believed in God, her faith was her strength. She was a member of the Nashville City District Association for many years, where she served as president of the

She believed in giving her best, and her dedication was soul stirring. 1971, Mary married her loving and lifelong partner, Robert Earlie Williams, Jr. and together they formed a marriage of love, honor, and trust, and was devoted to one another for over 41 years. Mary attended Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and was employed with Northern Telecom for a number of years before retirement.

Mary loved attending church, singing, praising the Lord. Nothing could keep her from enjoying her church, family and friends. She became acquainted and encountered many people that she touched during her Christian walk.  She will be solely missed.   Mary also liked bowling, shopping

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earlie Williams Jr, parents Corneila and Felix Williams Jr, her brother Felix Rucker and sister Margaret Betty.

Those left to celebrate her life and cherish a lifetime of beautiful memories are son Lamonte Rucker; granddaughter Chandra (Dominique) Rucker- Gordon; great grandsons Bryson Prysock and Roddrick Gordon; sister Delores Ann Rucker; brother-in-law Paul (Joyce) Williams; sisters-in-law Pearlie Haynes, Anna (Victor) and Frances Menzies.  A host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, many families and friends.
