Martha Helen Beene

Martha Helen Beene was born July 4, 2023 in Baldwyn Mississippi to the Vanilla Fields. She departed this earthly life the day before her birthday, on July 3, 2023 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Martha received her education in the Baldwyn, Mississippi Public School System. She professed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Boyce Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Martha married the love of her life Bobby Beene and together they shared 67, wonderful years and were blessed with five children.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willie Leroy Fields, Jimmy Lee Fields; sister, Emma Bell Birch; sons, Mark V. Beene, Bobby Beene, Jr., Donnie Beene, and George Beene.

Martha's heart was made of gold. She loved smiling, getting her nails painted, eating peanut butter crackers, and being around family and loved ones.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband of 67 years, Bobby Beene, son, Darrell Rae Beene, daughters-in-law, Glenda Beene and Paula Beene, sister, Mary Katherine McGee, grandchildren, Cortez Law, Markia Beene, Jonathan Matthews, Kristen Hendrix, Christopher Hendrix, a host of great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, nephew, Felix McGee, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
