Marquis Deon Hardison

Marquis Deon Hardison, affectionately known as “Quis” was born on January 11, 1978, to Seritha (Ann) Middlebrooks and Frank Drake Jr in Nashville, TN. Marquis entered into eternal rest on March 2, 2023.

Marquis accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was presently united with the Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System and Job Corps. He worked as a plumber for many years followed by working at Electrolux until his health failed.

Marquis was preceded in death by his father, Frank Floyd Drake Jr.

Quis had a gentle spirit, you instantly loved him, and he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was kindhearted and a lover of sports. He loved spending time with his kids, his family, and he adored his loving mother,  to know him was to love him.

Marquis will be deeply missed, yet never forgotten by his devoted mother, Seritha (Ann) Middlebrooks; two children Marquis Hardison Jr and Marquia Hardison; two loyal siblings Candice Hardison and Trinikka (Tim) Ruffin; grandmothers Mary Gray and Ahnighito Drake; aunts Mary Conley, Sharon Cooke, and Dr. Debra Drake; niece and nephews Alexis and Damonta Mckissack, Tayvon and TJ Ruffin; great niece and nephew Taylor and DJ Mckissack; host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
