Lottie Mae Allen Oldham

October 9, 1927 — February 1, 2022

Lottie was born on November 9, 1927 in Lauderdale County, Alabama to her parents, Cassie Alexander Howell and Alex Howell.  She entered into eternal rest on February 1, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee.  She preceded in death by her husbands of 40 years, Larry E. Allen and 22 years, Henry Oldham Jr.; her parents; siblings, Onie Butler, Willie C. Howell, L.C. Howell, Wille E. Howell; children, Shirley Allen; Kenneth Allen, Michael Allen, Gloria Greer, Peggy Martindale; and grandson, Keith Moore.

Lottie professed her hope in Christ early in life and became member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, later uniting with Faith Church Inc. under the leadership of Rev. Cora Alston.

Lottie worked at Parkview Hospital and Factory Sewing Police Uniform for many years.  She loved cooking, sewing, singing, and fishing.  She will be missed dearly by not forgotten by all who loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, Jimmie Moore, Mary Jackson, Erma (Walter) Sawyers, Joyce Allen; daughter in law, Carolyn Allen; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister-in- laws, Catherine Williams, Mary Frances Allen, Erma Howell; devoted granddaughter, Ashley Lawrence; devoted friends, Martha Ann Dobbins; devoted nephew, Charles (Anne) Harden; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, February 8, 2022,10-11 with funeral to follow at the funeral home.  Burial in Greenwood Cemetery Main.
