Lillie Suttle

Mrs. Lillie B. Suttle was born October 27, 1946, in Pulaski, Tennessee to the union of Robert Early Ballentine and Susie Mae Nelson Ballentine. Lillie gained her wings to be with her heavenly father on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lillie was educated in the Giles County Public Schools. She was a 1965 graduate of Bridge Forth High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and after relocating to Nashville she united with the Eight Street Baptist Church where she was an active member until her health began to fail.

Lillie married the love of her life Claude D. Suttle on March 5, 1966. Their love has been a beacon of light to their family for over 59 years.

Lillie was employed by US Tobacco for 32 years and was blessed to retire in 2003. After retirement she was able to enjoy some of her hobbies which were gardening, flowers and drinking her favorite soda Pepsi.

Lillie leaves to cherish her loving memories, loving and devoted husband, Claude D. Suttle, Sr., children, Claude Suttle, Jr, Darryl Suttle, LaSonya Suttle, Timothy Suttle, grandchildren, Keshia (Kevin), Darrius, Shaperia, Tharealest, Mia, Kylan, Zyier, great-grands, De’yana, Londyn, KeV’iona, Kevin, Jr., KeV’eah, devoted, best friend, Larita Craigehead, beloved nephew, nephew, Shaun Ballentine, host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
