Lillard Foutch Gant Jr. was born to the late Lillard Foutch Gant Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Corley on August 1, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was the oldest son of eight. He transitioned peacefully on May 9, 2023 to his heavenly home at the age of 70.
Lillard professed his faith in Jehovah God and loved his Savior Jesus Christ. He loved his family dearly. He was known in the community as the “Mechanic” a God given gift and he loved what he did. He had a affectionate laugh and comedian spirit that touched the heart of people, you thought you were looking at “LIVE” television. He was known throughout the cities by many who loved him, helping and serving. He will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lillard and Mary Gant, Lenora Gant, Claudia Gant, Thaddeus Gant, Ruby Dodson,
George Finney, Jr., Early Corley, Thaddeus Williams, Kayonda Gant, Sylvester Corley.
