Lawanda Sharriese Hodge-Wright

LaWanda Sharriese Hodge was born October 17, 1970 in Franklin Tennessee to the union of Linda Ann Patterson and Robert Thomas Hodge. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, Tennessee

LaWanda accepted Christ at an early age and was a Christian by faith.

She was educated in the Williamson County schools graduating from Franklin High School in 1989 and subsequently received her associate degree in cosmetology.

LaWanda was married February 29, 2002 to Tommy Wright. She was employed as a Licensed Cosmetologist for over 44 years and was also an accomplished author for 10 years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed making jewelry, painting and decorating. LaWanda spent a great deal of her time as an author as she enjoyed writing books. She loved to cook and feed the hungry. Caring for others was a significant part of who she was. She was a very creative and expressive person

She leaves to cherish her memories her first born son, Philajeiah Ewin, Loving Daughter To’Mijeyia Wright, Devoted Husband Tommy Wright, Parents Linda Ann Patterson (Late) and Robert Hodge (Sandra), Siblings: Thomas Delano Hodge (Late), Monique Hodge-Dotson, Damien Hodge, Laura Church-McCrary, Sekayi Hodge, Tongaye Hodge. Aunts: Betty Patterson, Gloria Webster, Hilda Waller. Beloved Cousins: Debera Patterson, Antonia Peavy, Jamesa Patterson and others. Loving Nieces and Nephews, LaQuita Johnson, Tiffany Locke, Shavonda Hodge (Late) Jay’Ln Hodge and many others. Loved Ones, LaVetta Allen, Darrell Saunders, Michelle Burkley, Terry Boyd, Shawn Groomster, Tammy Parrish, Tonya Thomas, Nicole Little, and Janet Ridley as well as many others that were loved and cherished.
