Laqondia Vachelle Newsome

Mrs. LaQondia Vachelle Weaver- Newsome affectionately known as “Qondia”, “L”, “Q”, and the “Beautiful One”! She was born on October 22, 1972 to Donna Weaver and the late Calvin (Plate) Smith of Nashville, Tennessee. On the evening of Friday, March 17, 2023, Qondia departed this life to be with the Lord.

At an early age she professed her life for Christ. She was a member of Cathedral of Praise Church. Qondia attended Metro Public Schools graduating from Stratford High School, Belmont University (3years), and later graduated from University of Phoenix in 2016. She worked for Vanderbilt Medical Center for 19 years before becoming ill with Renal Failure.

Qondia was preceded in death by her brother, Cleo Weaver, grandparents, George Weaver and Charlotte Robertson, Calvin (Soldier) and Sylvia Smith, Daddy, and Bobby (Poochie) Douglas.

Qondia carried a spirit of LOVE! She was the ROCK of her family. To know her was to love her. She loved her family and friends and would do anything to make them happy.
